In 2009, Aniko Brown — daughter of Dr. Robert Lyons — was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Scans revealed a 10 cm aggressive tumor in her 12 cm pancreas, deemed too large for surgery, with chemotherapy and radiation considered ineffective. Doctors gave her just 4 months to live.
She returned with her father to Hungary, where he had been researching Kaqun Water since 2004. For 3 months, Aniko took daily Kaqun water baths and drank the water. Returning to UCLA, scans showed the tumor had shrunk to 5 cm — prompting doctors to encourage Dr. Lyons to continue the treatment.
